What happens after I book my workshop spot?

Once you book your workshop spot, you’ll automatically be added to our register. The week before the workshop, we’ll send you a reminder along with all the details you’ll need. On the day, simply show up at the time and venue specified—everything else will be taken care of!

I can no longer make the workshop, what do I do? 

Tickets are strictly non-refundable. If you can't make the workshop, you must find someone to fill your seat. Tickets cannot be transferred or used as credit to purchase jewellery on the website.

What if the workshop doesn’t reach the minimum booking?

• A minimum of 6 people per workshop is required.
• If the minimum is not met, we reserve the right to reschedule the workshop.

Are there age restrictions?

Participants must be 18 years or older to attend the workshop.

Note: If you book for someone under the age of 18 and we are unaware of the age, we cannot be held liable for any injuries they may sustain during the workshop.

How long will my ring take to be finished?

We aim to have our standard sterling silver, brass and bronze rings rings ready within 4-6 weeks. 

Rings with gold plating / engraving / solid gold and stone set rings will take longer especially if you have a combination of these extras . Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks.

What if I want to make a wider ring?

The standard wax size used is 5mm wide, which our costings are based on.

We do offer an 8mm and 11mm wider wax upgrade, which will incur additional charges due to increased weight.

If the wax upgrade is wider than what we offer, the final price will be updated after metal casting.

What should I know about extras?

• Requests from the EXTRAS MENU will only commence after payment is received.
• These may include setting, engraving, or plating, and will extend the delivery time.

Can I use my own stone?

• Yes, but using your own stone is at your own risk.
• We are not responsible for any stone damage or breakage.
• Provide the exact size or an image of your stone for feasibility checks.
• If unsuitable, we can source another stone based on availability, but this will extend the delivery timeline. Please note this will be at your cost.

What metals and customizations are available?

• Custom rings can be cast in sterling silver, gold, white gold, rose gold, or platinum.
• Your wax ring will be weighed, and a quote will be provided based on your chosen metal.
• Resize requests exceeding two sizes larger will incur additional charges.

What should I know about plating?

• Plating is not permanent and may fade due to:
  • Skin acidity.
  • Contact with soap, sunscreen, creams, or perfume.
• Avoid washing hands or showering with the ring on.
• One free plating service is offered per plated ring.

Are there additional stamps or marks on the rings?

• Sterling silver rings are stamped with a "925" mark.
• Gold, platinum, and other metals are stamped with corresponding marks, along with the "ZA" stamp.

Can production dates change?

• Final delivery dates may be adjusted due to:
  • Production delays.
  • Human craftsmanship needs.
  • Force majeure events.
• We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

What are your working hours?

• Our team is available Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• We are unavailable after hours.

Private Workshop Policies

• A setup fee of R500 applies to the entire workshop group.
• Food and drinks can be included for an additional quoted cost.
• Full payment is required one month before the workshop date to secure your booking.
